This is the first place were we could legally practice airsoft, especially since airsoft in Malta was still in its early stages and nearly no-one know what airsoft was including the police. Ta Qali National Park was a great start, it is quite a big area which also differ from section to section thus making different game variants played during airsoft scenarios more viable. Below you can find an overview of the area, technically we can use all the park.

Malta Tactical Airsoft Club - Ta Qali

Ta Qali National Park has the following "zones" which allows us different styles of play, the main area used the top middle circle next to the street is a nice close combat zone with a huge open space and a lot of small cover providing a perfect place to warm up before proceeding to more demanding games. There are also two (2) huge areas that are a kind of "forest" which provide some nice open space with natural cover from trees and high ground when you get to the center. At Ta Qali National Park there is also space for a huge open field with minimum cover thus makes it a very difficult place to set an attack while next to it there is also a small open theatre.

All of the zones are easily accessible and all connect to each other. Since this is a public place though we are only allowed to use this park after it is closed for public and thus requires that one gets used to play in natural light of the moon or some light that is placed around the park, needless to say this is part of the game "Night operations" anyone?. I know what you are thinking, night vision goggles, well yes you can use them if you can afford one.
