Here you will find Malta Tactical Airsoft club history, below you can find a quick section selection in case you are only interested only in a particular area:
How everything started?

The club started around 2005 . It was during the final stages of the new Arms Act that AMACS (Association of Maltese Arms Collectors and Shooters) became aware of the sport of Airsoft. Things were quickly arranged so that the Arms Act could be amended to include airsoft as a sport that can be practiced legally in Malta.
From there the club strength started to increase year on year. New members started to join the club and more and more people found their home in the first local airsoft club in Malta.
Back to topWho are we?
We are a group of friends that have airsoft as a common hobby/sport. We meet and have some fun together weekly and together we form the Malta Tactical Airsoft Club (M.T.A.C). As a club we do not only meet weekly for our activities but we also create extra activities such as BBQ's, nights out, etc.
M.T.A.C was the first airsoft club in Malta and we, as a club, provide everything that one would need legally to play this hobby/sport. What we mean about legally is a place with a specified time where one can practice this sport so no inconveniences with the police arise, especially due to the equipment related to airsoft. Legally also includes the necessary licenses needed to buy and carry airsoft electric guns (AEG).

Current State?
Currently the club is active as it has never been and many improvements have been made, new members are joining nearly every session and interested members are contacting the club frequently. Malta Tactical Airsoft Club was also the first club on this island to create the largest airsoft skirmish ever heldĀ with over fifty (50) members taking part in this multiple objective mission.
The club also invested in different equipment and accessories together with AMACS to help new members adapt easily and to keep safety always as a top priority. A New website (current one) has also been launched with a lot of information that interested members will need, a section containing club achievements and more improvements.
Malta Tactical Airsoft Club also had an important role during the making of the first official Local Law and Regulations for Airsoft Activities, which were officially published and released in January 2011.

Activities
As a club we try to do at least two (2) activities a week Thursday and Saturday. Thursday is a night activity and the game of airsoft is totally different at night, sometimes we also replace this activity with a training session in order to improve the skill level within the club and at the same time help new comers to understand more the basics of this sport. When a training sessions is going to be held instead of an activity all members are always informed before hand so if someone is not interested in training they are free to skip the session.
The activity held on Saturday is the main focus for most members especially since it is held in the weekends, during Summer these activities are held early mornings to avoid Summer heatwave, because you must remember that you will be running wearing gear and equipment, not with your swimming trousers, for the rest of the year the sessions are held in the afternoons.
